Code of Conduct

1. Respect, Behaviour & UAE Cultural Values

All participants must treat coaches, staff, officials, teammates, opponents, and spectators with respect at all times.

Good sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive communication are expected both on and off the field.
-
Respect for the laws, culture, traditions, and heritage of the United Arab Emirates is mandatory.
-
Behaviour, language, dress, gestures, and online activity must reflect UAE values and community standards.
-
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, disrespect toward UAE culture, or abusive behaviour (verbal, physical, or online) will not be tolerated.

2. Participation & Safety

Participants must follow all instructions provided by RiyActive coaches and staff.
-
Players may only participate when medically and physically fit.
-
Equipment must be used responsibly and as instructed.
-
Any injury, unsafe condition, or safeguarding concern must be reported immediately to a coach or RiyActive representative.

3. Punctuality & Attendance
-
Players are expected to arrive on time for all training sessions, matches, and events.
-
Parents/guardians must inform RiyActive in advance of any absence.
-
Persistent lateness or absenteeism may affect training and match eligibility.

4. Dress Code & Appearance
-
Appropriate sportswear, footwear, and protective equipment must be worn at all times.
-
Personal hygiene and a neat, respectful appearance are expected.
-
Clothing must be modest and appropriate, in line with UAE cultural norms.
-
Inappropriate clothing, accessories, or offensive branding are not permitted.

5. Fair Play & Integrity
-
All participants must play by the rules and respect decisions made by coaches, referees, and officials.
-
Cheating, dishonesty, or unsporting behaviour will result in disciplinary action.
-
Facilities, venues, and equipment must be respected at all times.
6. Education, Discipline & Academic Eligibility
-
RiyActive strongly believes that education comes first. Sporting participation must support, not replace, academic responsibility.

At the end of each school term, all players are required to present their official school report card to their coach or academy representative.
-
Failure to submit a report card will result in the player being ineligible to participate in matches until the requirement is met.

Consistent academic underperformance, as assessed by RiyActive management, may result in:
-
Temporary restriction from match participation
-
Continued training with academic monitoring
-
This policy reinforces discipline, balance, and long-term success both on and off the field.
7. Media & Digital Conduct

Photography and video recording are only permitted in accordance with RiyActive’s media consent policy.

Participants and parents must not post inappropriate, misleading, disrespectful, or harmful content related to:

RiyActive
-
Coaches or staff
-
Other players or families
-
The UAE or its culture
Breaches may result in disciplinary action.
8. Parents & Guardians
-
Parents and guardians are expected to support RiyActive values, positive behaviour, and academic responsibility.
-
Concerns must be raised through official RiyActive communication channels.
-
Sideline coaching, aggressive behaviour, or interference during sessions or matches is not permitted.
9. Zero Tolerance Policy
-
RiyActive operates a zero-tolerance policy toward:

Violence or aggression
-
Harassment or discrimination
-
Disrespect toward UAE laws, culture, or values
-
Substance abuse (including alcohol, vaping, or drugs)
-
Damage to property
-
Any breach may result in immediate removal, suspension, or termination of participation without refund.
10. Disciplinary Action
- Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in:
a. Verbal or written warnings
b. Temporary suspension from training or matches
c. Permanent exclusion from RiyActive programmes
d. All decisions made by RiyActive management are final.

11. Agreement

By registering with or participating in any RiyActive programme, parents/guardians and participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Code of Conduct.
